We are here to help you with free and easy things you can do to support menopause in the workplace. Supporting health and wellbeing including menopause transition in the workplace will be of great benefitNot only will you help to reduce the impact of the most common, short term symptoms (anxiety, low mood, brain fog), you will also reduce recruitment costs and retain skills and knowledge for your workplace. We know 1 in 10 women have left a job due to their symptoms.

Allowing people to talk about their health and wellbeing can be enough to reduce anxiety and stress

“I have kept quiet about how I feel. This only adds to the strain and stress of managing the menopause”.

“I have rarely needed to access workplace support (have never formally done so) but my manager has always understood the aspects of menopause that can affect my work”.

We know that an employer who actively promotes wellbeing in the workplaces is 8 times more likely to have employees fully engaged in their work.

Plan wellbeing activities that will engage your workforce, promote your workplace health programme, raise awareness & communicate health promotion campaigns, signpost to local services, and encourages colleagues to make small lifestyle changes. Our project offers free support and resources to help you.

What workers say:

"I have kept quiet about how I feel. This only adds to the strain and stress of managing the menopause"

"I guess I could raise it but it would feel weird. It would be much easier if policies were in place already, or if the organisation was leading on changing our approach."

"I have rarely needed to access workplace support (have never formally done so) but my manager has always understood the aspects of menopause that can affect my work. My manager and colleagues are very supportive"
